Resep Opor Ayam Santan

Introduction

Instructions



1. Start by preparing the chicken. Cut the chicken into pieces and wash it thoroughly. Set aside.
2. In a large pot, heat some oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and shallots and sauté until fragrant.
3. Add the chicken pieces to the pot and cook until browned on all sides.
4. Add the lemongrass, kaffir lime leaves, and bay leaves to the pot.
5. In a separate bowl, mix together the coconut milk, salt, sugar, coriander, cumin, and turmeric powder.
6. Pour the coconut milk mixture into the pot with the chicken.
7. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 30-45 minutes until the chicken is cooked through.
8. Once the chicken is cooked, remove it from the pot and set it aside.
9. Increase the heat and let the coconut milk mixture boil until it thickens.
10. Serve the chicken with the thickened coconut milk sauce and steamed rice.
